evo labs cronus 750watt modular psu

Can anyone tell me if this is a good PSU as I'm gonna upgrade but can't decide between the evo labs Cronus 750 watt modular and the corsair 750 watt modular there's a 20 pounds or so in the price difference so any help thanks its for a i5 4670k build with 16gb ram and two Asus ha 7850 graphics cards thanks

The evo labs unit is not there. It hasn't been reviewed on any of the big review sites. I wouldn't even consider it.

Which Corsair model is it? HX? AX? Either way, between the two, the Corsair is the only one I'd choose.

Its a cx750 but u have sorted out which I will get its the corsair lol

A modular CX?

That is not a modular model.

I do trust the manufacturer, Channel Well. They made my TX950. A very solid power supply.

Corsair has the CX line and the CXM line which is modular. The CX line uses cheap Chinese made capacitors and are generally not a great recommendation for higher powered gaming builds as those capacitors are known to fail when stressed. The CXM line uses much higher quality Japanese capacitors and is much better overall. CWT is the OEM for both lines.

I bought this power supply on Ebay, and installed it today. It is pretty heavy, although slightly lighter, then my old cooler master 620w one. Company promises 80+ efficiency, so it shouldn't be just another power drainer.
Supply build quality looks about 7/10, installation is easy, cables are pretty much standard. It has 4 pcie 8 pin plugs, that are made of 2 pin and 6 pin connectors.

I have to say, the supply is not that bad.
