EvtEng exe caused APPCRASH

Intel Proset/Wireless Event log service has stopped working. The system still runs normally,but after every startup I get the following error message.

Check your Device Manager for a badly installed device.

Thanks. That was the 1st thing I had checked. All devices show normal operation. I even checked with the manufacturer to make sure I had the correct driver & version number. They are all up to date.
