Ex hdd 1tb makes weird clicking noises not working now

Hello,
my cnm core 1tb external hdd is not working like it should when booted up pc i log in as usual then once on desktop i switch opn external core 1tb ext hdd and it makes weird clicking noises and wont show on my computer

It is dead. It has failed mechanically.
