Ex-mining cards and the second hand market ?

I would like your opinions on graphics cards which have been used for mining being sold onto the second hand market.
As you all know crypto-mining is big and it requires GPU power and to be run 24/7 to make it pay. The evolution of graphics cards is also fast, so used graphics cards will and are on the second hand market which have been thrashed for mining. Since the buyer has no way of knowing if the graphics card has been thrashed at high temps for months and the fan bearings potentially worn or component heat damaged and possibly fail after a week of instense gaming, this places risk on the second hand card market like never before.
I guess this has 2 possible affects on the prices:
1. Second hand gfx prices will be high as people are buying them for mining.
2. Second hand prices will be low for buyers fear of worn cards.
Please let me know what you think....

Solution
from my experience, some miners (i'm guessing on a budget or starting out) are stalking the 2nd hand market as well

i've sold a number of GPUs lately (4 x 980) on ebay as 'buy it now' and every single one of them went within seconds of being listed.

The first one I messaged to comment on how fast they were. They responded saying they were using a ebay bot to grab good gpu deals for mining.

Every GPU after that, same... sold within seconds of being listed.

Solution
There are two opinions on this

if i was a seller and a miner.I would be looking to make a profit.
Over here miners are of many types.
The first one would try his best to give as much as less details if not full about card being used for mining (thats how business works) and sell it at a little loss than the original value.
The second once:These are the once who are honest and provide a reasonable price for the card although these type is hard to find
There is also one who earns a lot from mining yet tries to get the max out of selling used card and there is also one who makes huge profit from mining and dont care about getting max from selling the card .

Also sometimes we may find some people who just got into mining and failed to make profit and as a result they sell there card at almost same price in the market to get returns.

Now coming to consumer

As a consumer i would try to get the best value card which is almost brand new and never being used for mining.
Now as a consumer i would look into details and research a bit before buying card.Budget is the best factor that decide these consumer. They try to spend little to get the best in the market. Also Knowledge is one important thing. Some new consumer without checking details would just see a 24/7 mined card at such low price and screams over buying a used card of which he has no knowledge about.
Also if a consumer should buy used card he should check if the card is still under warranty. If warranty covers the cost of purchase then its a good buy else bad .

Hope it helps
