Ex-RAID Drive Not Recognized?

Okay, I'll try to keep this as concise and simple as possible...

I had a RAID 0 configuration in a previous build. I took the drives out, and I'm trying to use one of the drives as a standard HD now, but of course that isn't working. It is recognized in the BIOS just fine, but when I open up Disk Management, the first thing that pops up is, "Initialize Disk" with the options of "MBR (Master Boot Record)" or "GPT (GUID Partition Table)." It is default set on MBR, so I just click OK and the error comes up "Virtual Disk Manager: Data error (cyclic redundancy check.)".

Now it looks like it still shows the disk listed, but it is Unknown and Not Initialized. Also, the storage size shows the RAID 0 size, not the individual disk size. And under properties it is listed as "Intel Raid 0 Volume SCSI Disk Device"

So my question is... if I just want to use this as a standard HD, how can I get it out of a RAID configuration and initialized for normal use? Thanks for any help you can give!

Okay I downloaded that program and when I pull it up it says "Bad Disk" for the HD. Is there a way to uninstall or update the drivers for the HD or something so it quits recognizing it as a RAID drive? I don't have the original setup to put it back into.

Damn, so the HD is probably dead huh? I have the other HD from the RAID array, I may plug that in and see if it works.

On a somewhat related side note: The HD that I have as a secondary storage drive right now is confusing me. I cleared 60GB of space off of it, and after a day or so, all of a sudden it is showing that it is full again. I didn't put anything else on the drive though. Can space just disappear that like? Like if it is corrupted or something?

Side note #2: I have an SSD as my primary HD. If I do Disk Cleanup and delete Temporary Files (5.6GB) and Windows Update Cleanup (4GB), could there be any unintended consequences from that?
