My friend and i created a family when she was over at my house, she then
fell in love with the game and bought herself a copy. She wants the family
that we created together (that would be a family inside a house). I don't
know how to give it to her or where the files are located. Can anybody help
me find a way to exchange these files?

In the neighborhood view, when you hover the mouse over the lot and
get the popup about it, there should be an option to package lot
(maybe under more info). Just do that, and pick package to a file, and
IIRC, it puts the file on the windows desktop.

Just give that to your friend, and all they have to do is just double
click on it, and it should install. It's on page 68 of the US manual,
probably in the manual someplace in other countries as well...
