You said it about burning up money. I needed the upgrade so I went for it this year. Next upgrade will be maybe the end of next year. But I'll see whats up by then an will likely wait for 1st half of 2005.

like xp from the standpoint that it will probably have many short commings and offer no/less performance or functionality increase to the average power user....

actually 2k pro is just as expensive as xp pro...dunno how much longhorn will cost but i bet it will be one bitch to pirate...
