Exclude program from UAC

I am still carrying around a good few legacy program from the Windows 95 days which I would like to put into the Startup folder.

Problem is... UAC won't let me.

I know how to disable UAC in Windows 7 but I don't want to shut it off completely. Is there a way to disable UAC only for certain programs?

Yes, it's possible. There are various resources that describe ways how to do this but the easiest and most impressive tool I've seen so far is Exclude Application from UAC. It's not free, though.
