Ok the issue is that I have zero knowledge of building a pc but I am not an idiot. I want to build a pc for an xmas present. The next problem is that I am poor as hell lol. I have searched around but I just do not trust myself and expect only epic fail and wasted money if I were not to post this. The budget is around 300ish. The person receiving the pc is not expecting to play the high end games with maxed settings or anything but of course I would like to squeeze as much performance out of the budget as possible. I am sorry if my post breaks rules or seems lazy but its really a self trust issue haha. I have read too many threads with someone doing a budget build only to find out that they could have done much much better soon after they have finished. I have no other specific preferences.
I fear flame.
