Hello!!

I have a NZXT H230 case for my rig with 3 noctua NF-P12 fans as intake fans on it(one on the bottom and two on the front). Also for my cpu I have a Noctua NH-D14 cooler with the two stock fans.
Now the question is if another noctua NF-P12 will do the job as the only exaust fan or I need something else. I don't have yet the vent so I can buy smth else. It will however need to be another quiet fan to keep my system quiet. The reason I'm asking is because I're read a few posts that noctua NF-P12 is not a great exhaust fan.
The rest of the build is a 4790k on asus z97-a and a gtx 980 ti from msi. Temps are good already and I'm satisfied with this so far. I only need some opinions for the exhaust.

Solution
Your case will stay cleaner with a positive pressure setup.
That would be to have all intake air coming from the same source that is filtered.
That would be the two front 120mm intakes.
The cooling air will exit somewhere taking heat with it.
I would mount the third fan as exhaust in the rear. Mostly to direct the airflow past the cooler.

Beware of too much exhaust fan strength. Too strong will draw in unfiltered air from nearby openings.

The case only has room for a fan on it's back. I agree and I'm fine with 'ugly' since this is a closed case and you can't see them. Expensive they are but i'm hunting down sh ones and manage to find them at about 50% price. (i bought the last to for 11-12 euro a piece) .

So I guess fitting a 4'th noctua for exhaust would be ok with the current setup.

Thank you for the answer!
