Question exp gdc beast on the m.2 slot on my laptop

I want to use the exp gdc beast on the m.2 slot on my laptop. Is there a way to power the graphics card without a power supply ? My laptop is a dell inspiron 3501.

You're going to need an additional power source to power the slot and the GPU. As for the compatibility of the adapter on your laptop, your mileage can and will vary with regards to your laptop. Make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your laptop prior t dropping in the adapter. As for your laptop, how are you booting into the OS on that laptop?
