Hello all,

I recently received and installed windows 8.1 and thought it would be a good idea to put the OS onto a separate 40gb partition. At the time it did work. However, I've started to run out of space on my OS drive because some programs refuse to be installed elsewhere. I have tried using the build in disk partition editor, but 'Extend Partition' was grayed out. I later tried to use AOMEI partition assistant but it did nothing.

Also, I have 334.88gb of unallocated space, so I don't think it has anything to do with lack of space to allocate.

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone (or anything?) could tell me or show me how to do this.

Thanks, Alex.

Edit: The only options are: Open, Explore, Mark Partition as Active, Change Drive and Path Letters, Shrink Volume and Properties.

If you mean 'is it on the same disk as everything else on my computer' then, yes.
I only have one disk in my computer and only have W8.1 installed.
