Expanding existing loop

I've decided to expand my current watercooling loop to include my gpu. I'm using the Eisberg 240 cooler, which is basically an all in one with expandability (I'm running the pump at 7V instead of 12V and there's still tons of flow - 35C CPU)

The site (apparently it's marketed as alphacool in Australia and not Coolermaster, so I'll provide this link for details: Eisberg Details

It says it can be expanded with "11/8mm tubing" - which I cannot find anywhere. The coolermaster site (which may be slightly different to what I have, not too sure), says: 10 / 8 mm – 16"/5,0" ID + Hose Wrap

I cannot find tubing with either 16"/5" or 10/8mm - if it's know as something different, please let me know. It also says it uses "standard 1/4" connections", does that mean instead I could get some new common tubing and some new fittings and do it that way?

Solution

From what I understand it's suggested that you match your tubing ID (inside diameter) to your fittings' OD (outside diameter).
Yes the standard for tubings and fittings are described poorly and confusing.
The tubing and the fitting must be compatible or you will have a hard time and a wasted money. Be sure to look at the specifications and confirm if they are the same. Usually they will indicate the size.
