Hi everyone,
The network in my house has been really terrible overall and it's been bothering me so much lately. So i decided to do some research on what i can do to fix my wireless range problem.I've come up with something but i'm not sure if it would work. what i've thought of is using wireless AP's in my house (I have a three floor's that need to be covered) but my parents don't want to put holes into the wall to run the ethernet cable, so i did a little more research on the issue and i came across powerline adapters and to me it looks like they work just like an ethernet cable. So what i was thinking to do is connect the AP's via powerline to my wireless router. I just want to know if that would work for me and any extra things that i would need to know to make this go smoothly.
Now there's another thing i need advice on, my parents are going to get the quantum package from verizon and verizon is sending us a new dual-band router to support the 5G channel so i want to know what i would need to do and configure on the router to get the best performance and security out of the new router thank you so much in advance i know this is a lot to ask at once.
i do know how to sign into the router's web interface
thank you,
joe
