I just would like to know how everyone felt about their first build. I am extremely happy with mine because before I was playing G-Mod at 1600x1000 on a 1080p monitor with everything on its lowest settings and gett ~30FPS and it was on a mac too so I spent the summer working to get the money to build my first gaming computer and haven't regretted it since because now I maxed g-mod out at 1080p and launch Davy Crockett and shoot mini-guns at with 100+ FPS. It feels so much better to just max out every game without even caring about frames. What were your thoughts or feeling about your builds?

My first build was a mid range PC at the time, but i can't actually call it my first build because 80% of the components were picked by a friend.

So my second build (or full first build if you like) - at first i was disappointed because of the overheating issues with the AMD FX 6300 CPU on a stock cooler. 2 days after i got a thermaltake Frio Advanced CPU cooler and 4 Thermaltake 120mm case fans and now I am happier than ever! Everything I installed runs super smooth with very high fps and the temperature never goes over 45 degrees Celsius

I'm not sure what to call mine. I've slowly upgraded mine, I got it as a birthday present and it was some cheap mini or micro pre-built. Eventually I replaced everything but the RAM, GPU, and harddrive. Later, I replaced those, then I've replaced everything else again, so it doesn't have a single original component, but in a way it's still the same build. I'm pretty happy with it, but I'll be upgrading it again soon, when I get the money. Probably an SSD, new motherboard/CPU and GPU, so a pretty big one coming up.
