Experiencing black screens on Windows 8.1

Having random freezes in Windows 8.1. The screen just went dark earlier and I knew that it was running because I heard the speakers, but the screen was solid black and the Input was picking up signal. I took the DVI cable out of the back of my card and plugged it into the DVI port directly under than and it worked for a while. Then after an hour or two it went completely black again and just froze... no BSOD nothing. Where should I start?

Also this could be anything I just got 2 new GPUs (R9 290 vaporx), a 1000w Gold PSU, an SSD, and an H100i water cooler.

Problems with the Crossfire try each card 1 at a time, see if it happens.
