Question Explain GPU Memory Speeds

I'm trying to learn about overclocking a 2060 Super and something is puzzling me. I'm reading that most people are getting an average overclock of 200Mhz on core clock and 800Mhz on memory, but then when I look at actual results, while the core clock numbers line up, the memory doesn't. The base memory clock is 1750Mhz, so I would expect a bump of 800mhz would result in about 2500Mhz, but actual results show 2000.

Any help would be appreciated.

Oh yeah, one more thing, on the card I'm trying to get (the EVGA SC Ultra Gaming) it lists the memory at 14000Mhz, what's up with that?
