Explorer.exe application error

When i turned on my pc my dekstop was flickering to gray. went to toilet and came back it was normal. but left an error with the following

The Exception illegal instruction
An attempt was made to execute an illegal instruction
(0x000001d) occurred in the application at location 0xfebc28f7.

Click on OK to terminte the program

Hi,

This issue occurs when you right-click the Start tip or press the Windows key+X keyboard shortcut, and then you use the Shut down or sign out option to shut down or restart Windows.

Note: The shutdown process continues after the error message is displayed. The error does not harm the computer, and it can be safely ignored.

Cause of this issue:

This error occurs because the Explorer.exe process accesses memory that has already been freed during the shutdown process.

To work around this issue, use the Settings charm to shut down or restart Windows.

This Applies to;

Windows 8.1
Windows 8.1 Pro
Windows 8.1 Enterprise.

this happens to me when i just boot up my system
