explorer.exe crashes upon renaming of files

hey guys,
im having this problem with explorer.exe. everytime i
rename a file, it causes explorer.exe to generate errors.
it's only been happening in the last 2 days, before that
it was fine.
i have update some software. i usually have running,
Outlook Express, IE, Winamp, Norton Internet
security/Antivirus, and msn.
i'm running Win2k sp5.

Have you checked for spyware?
