Extended display flickering.

I can’t seem to figure out why I cant get the extended display to show on my second screen. When “extend this display “ is selected, the second screen shows it but then flickers on and off. When “duplicate this display” is selected, it works just fine. What I need it to do is extend this display. What is it that I’m missing here?

Thanks I appreciate it. I just figured it out. Turns out, the screen resolution settings on the second screen didn't support the settings that it was on. I lowered it and that fixed it.
