extended hard drive show up on device manager but nothing on my computer

i was transfering some data to my backup extended hard drive
accidentally dropped it on the ground
replugged the cable and it didnt show up on my computer
but it did show up on device manager
what should i do

The drive is damaged by physical shock and will have to be replaced.
That's why you need at least two external drives for backups (same data on each one), one external is not enough (too risky).
