[SOLVED] extenders

I can access my router IP no problem but I've just brought a range extender and find I'm unable to get the IP '192.168.188.1' , I've tried with other computers, with and without a Lan cable with no success, I'm wondering if TalkTalk is preventing this. any suggestions would be welcome

sometimes they have their own web address , like m.dlink.net , home.netgear.whatever ,, try look at the back of your device for such adresses ..

No the only thing on the backplte is ;_ default settings 192.168.188.1
login Admin
Password Admin

2.4SSID wifi-2.4 g-xxxx
5.0 SSID wifi-5.og-xxxx
Where xxxx are the last four numbers of the MAC number

is talk talk your VPN ? if not , try getting a static ip address in your windows settings to reach 192.168.188.1
