extending my power strips

instead of me buying a power strip that has a longer cord on it can i just plug the sirpis into their own extention cord then right into the wall outlet again? or do those extention cords count as those extra hikes in the electric? i think i mean ----> if i plug a extention cord into a 6 outlet power strip then does the extention cord count as number 7? and how about how dangerous it is?

plugging one extension into another isnt a great idea safety wise

If you purchase 14 gauge or larger (lower gauge number) extension cords it should be OK. You could still overload the outlet or the circuit the outlet is on.

Buy one with a longer cord, your cheap stake solution risks overloading.
