extending my wireless range

Hi all

So I have a RT-AC5300 which I LOVE but I have a couple dead spots in my house which get a very limited WIFI signal (yes my house is huge) I have cat 6 in every bedroom in the house so the wifi is for phones and Ipads only... We are also in a 4G dead spot aswell (only get 2 bars of 3G) which is why the WIFI is so important... So I am looking at this

would this go with my router??? I like the idea of auto switching between router and extender..
The dead spot im getting is only 2 bedrooms and a bathroom so not a large area

That device would work. I would recommend you take advantage of your wired infrastructure and use that as an access point rather than a repeater.
