Hi all, amazing community here.

I have search around but haven't found anything that solved my problem so I decided to participate and ask here for a solution.

So, I have an ASUS z170 Sabertooth Mark 1 motherboard, I had 2x8GB of ram installed from GSkill Raw (G.Skill Ripjaws V Red DDR4 2400 PC4-19200 16GB 2x8GB CL15 ) and I wanted to buy 32GB, so I bought this (Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 PC4-24000 32GB 2x1 ). So my intention was to have 2x8 and 2x16 for a total of 48GB of RAM.
According to the QVL those ones should be supported (if I got it right), I checked as well on PCPartPicker and didn't warn me about any incompatibility, but I might be missing something because I have installed them and they are not being detected.
The current installation configuration is 2x8 on A2/B2 and 2x16 on A1/B1.
Ah, the CPU I have is an intel core i5 6600K 3.5GHz

Any ideas of what might be wrong or what I might be missing? And if there is a solution I would much appreciate if I get some instructions on what to do :)

Thanks, bests regards.

The 2x16GB kit should be installed in A2/B2 first. You will be limited to the speed and timings of your original kit, which is 2400Mhz, unless you decide to only use the new 2x16GB kit at the advertised 3000Mhz. Don't try to activate XMP unless it's 2400Mhz.
