Extending Wifi to an Apartment in the Same Building

My family and I currently live in 2 separate apartments on the same floor of the same building. We are separated by about 100 feet, and there are 2 stone/brick walls between us, plus about 3 drywall walls.

I'm trying to find a cost effective way to get a wifi signal to their apartment from mine; I tried a triplet of 7dBi antennae for my router, but that didn't make the signal reach them.

Making holes or digging trenches to run a cord over there isn't an option; I have to do it wirelessly. What can I use to get a signal over there?

I did find the EnGenius ENS202: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BOVOKR8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_tGIMxb9H7NERY

Would that do the trick? Would I need to get 2 (1 for each apartment)?

Solution
We have many users who have problems with these in their own house because the outlets are on different legs of their breaker box. So having it flow through a breaker box, to the basement, through 2 meters and back, I have serious doubts about it working.

As for pairing them you are right about many but it is still possible, especially if you have a very unscrupulous and savvy neighbor.
That Engenius extender is really made for outdoor use. With so many walls between you I have serious doubts of how strongly it will work.

What you are doing is not achievable, reliably anyway.

As for the powerline suggestion that would only maybe work if the apartments don't have their own meter and breaker box, most do. Also even if it did thats a huge security risk as any of you neighbors could just plug in and steal bandwidth or access your computers.

Go for this instead:

And if it connects properly you can connect a wireless access point to it.

Meter and breaker box shouldn't interfere in theory.

Pretty much every powerline adapter kit I know of (at least aside from a good brand) pairs the two adapters for them to function together. I don't see how any neighbor would be able to access this connection. Also, I doubt there's any direct connection between the apartments, more likely the connection would be routed down to the connection with the power grid and then go to the other apartment.

I doubt any neighbor would actually learn about this, much less be able to exploit it.

But yeah, while it's unlikely to work, it's more likely than any other option OP has. Maybe OP could talk to the ISP and see if they can have the two apartments share the connection I guess?

To me you never know. I lived in an apartment building for 8 years, some of the crap I saw there man..... People are messed up.

Anyway I agree, if there is a way they can do that it would likely be preferable.
