I have a number of external devices: dvd drive, blu-ray drv, card reader, etc..Does anyone make a device such as a stacker or small (book) shelf like thing on which I can "stack" my devices?

Back when these components were big, as in 19" wide for the pro market, or 14" wide for the home market, we used rack-mounts:

In the home theater area, we tend to use shelves for the same effect:

In Your case, measure which is the widest device, and but a small book shelf with no back. Stack the devices on it. I have a mental picture of a wooden 3-shelf-tall thing with no back, but I can not find a pic. Sorry.

You will need long cables, or extender cables for each device - both power and data.

It's been a while since I logged in. Since then I had a small unit custom made (I couldn't find what I needed anywhere). It's about 18" high and has a top shelf, bottom shelf and 6 adjustable shelves that can be moved at 1/2 inch intervals within the unit.
I had it made of cherry, it's holding all my externals with room for a couple more devices.
Thanks for all the assistance. If anyone is interested go to HTTP://www.custommade.com

I also bought a usb hub with switches, which allow me to turn on/off 3 usb plugs at a time (9 plugs total). I had to send the first one back, but the second works nicely and I found I didn't need long cables since the hub had one. I placed the hub directly behind the shelf unit. To each their own, but I'm very satisfied.
