[SOLVED] external drive problem

i can't access my mobile storage solution 2.5" external enclosure. whenever I try to access it, I receive a pop-up message saying, 'The parameter is incorrect', or 'you need to format the disk in drive, before you can use it', . Don't know how to go about it, I don't want to loose my stuff, pls help. Thanks

Take out the drive from the enclosure, see if it works in another one or directly on a computer. If that won't read the disk, have a data recovery place check it. For next time, keep backups of your files.
