[SOLVED] External DVD optical drive recommendations

I'm looking to replace my laptop with a new one. Since newer laptops don't come with optical drives anymore, I was wondering what you'd recommend. I'm mostly going to use it to install programs and maybe watch some DVDs if I can get one that stays put while watching. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
