i have dell inspiron 15 3542 [laptop] i3 4005u 4th gen 1.7 ghz 4gb ram and intel hd graphics 4400
i want to put external graphic card can i
it will suit it but
will i need to do for it can i take any graphic card and connect to it
because i want it for gaming

Well, external GPU's aren't really a thing and with the given other "ways" it's extremely expensive for what you get. Also -- depending on the GPU, you'd have to get a different, more powerful PSU if you want it to work. And no, you cannot just take any GPU and connect it to the laptop. There are special procedures that you would have to do to make that happen.
