External Graphic card

Is there an external graphic card that I can add to my HP Elitebook. Do they make such an item? If so what is recommended

I used to have a Bizon Box(externally video card adapter) that I installed a GTX 970 into and had it running on my old Macbook Pro. It worked on both OSX and Windows 10(from the Macbook). Those types of devices will also work on Windows laptops... but they have to have a Thunderbolt connector and have to have Intel graphics.
