External Hard Disk"Maxtor OneTouch"

I have a Maxtor OneTouch™ III Turbo Edition and my MacBook does not recognize the drive.It's volume from mac os changed to Ms dos.

When I try to Repair my disk it gives this error

1 HFS volume checked
1 volume could not be repaired because of an error



Is there anything I can do to fix this problem? I need all my data please tell me what should I do.

Hey marjangol, have you even tried plugging the hard disk into another PC, preferably a Windows?
