My external not detecting in my computer after it fell to the floor.
Help me.
It is likely dead.
Not sure, or If I change the enclosure you think it work?
Very doubtful if it fell to the floor -- the mechanical shock has damaged the delicate moving parts (read/write heads and platters) in the drive itself. Putting it in another enclosure, or even connecting it internally in your PC, won't make any difference, it's still damaged inside.
Dropping a hard drive is almost always going to damage it internally, even if it looks okay on the outside.
It wouldn't hurt to try a different enclosure or mount it internally, but personally I think it's a waste of time trying.
Hope you prove me wrong, for your sake.
