external hard disk showing correct capacity and content.

hi,
I took out the hard disk from a dead laptop, plug it into a new laptop using the external hard disk case. the original hard disk has got 750gb but I am only seeing 750mb and there's no content inside the hard disk. How can I retrieve the information from the har disk?

Windows ? Check Disk management to see if partition(s) have a letter.
