As my ex hard drive is corrupt and unreadable, i have done your Chkdsk x: /f process in <cmd.exe> but the problem is only 71% complete. and it stuck there. As there is 3 stages, only 2 stages are completed.
And it shows,[ <correcting error in index $130 for file 5>
An unspecified error occured <696e647863686b2e 60e>]

Solution
Hey there, Pebam_Winson.

Looks like there might be an issue with either the drive itself or its partition/s. Even if you are unable to open it directly via Windows, you could still try accessing it via Ubuntu Live USB/DVD, to see if it recognizes it properly so that you can get to your files and back them up. If that doesn't work, you could give it a try with data recovery software: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-1644496/lost-data-recovery.html & http://pcsupport.about.com/od/filerecovery/tp/free-file-recovery-programs.htm.

If you don't care about the data, you should download the drive manufacturer's diagnostic tool and test it, to see what's the situation with it.

Please let me know how everything goes.
