Question External hard drive does not power down after eject when connected to certain usb hubs ?

Hello,

I was wondering why the situation in the title was happening. My external hard drives all have a separate power source, and when I connect to usb hub (A), it powers down immediately after or 10 or so seconds after I eject it through the OS (Windows 10). But when I connect the same devices to a different usb hub (usb hub (B)), it doesn't power down after I eject it and keeps spinning (I used the same usb port). Usb hub (C) seems to have the same problem as hub (B), except it worked just like hub (A) previously.

All usb hubs do not have separate power, but usb hub (B) and (C) have switches for each port. Would this just be a problem with the usb hub (B)/(C)? Is there a way to make the hard drive power down after ejection?

Thanks!

P.S. The drives usually power down when I eject when directly connected to the PC.
