External hard drive esata & firewire 800 for mac

Hi there,

I'm looking for an hard drive for working with mac which will be used as an external hard drive for playing movies in HD format.

It's also should be fast for downloading the movies from the mac and transfering it after capture the movie to the drive to another

mac. Since mac don't use usb 3 I need to look for esata & firefire 800.

If you know such an hard drive & it's reliable to that sort of work pls let me know.

It does help.

My mac don't support thunderbolt.

La Cie, Iomega & segate are the few models which I think of. Are they stable

enough in daily use ?
