External Hard Drive Help

I was just wondering what the best eSATA external hard drive there is for the money. I'm looking for multiple TBs of space, as I'm hoping to move (and play) my ever growing game collection on it. As a sort of follow up question, I was wondering if my motherboard saying it has a 6gb/s Esata connection, and the external saying it has a 3gb/s eSata connection means anything significant. The Esata port on the back will be twice the speed.

Just get an enclosure. Any Sata drive will work. Obviously the faster and more reliable the drive, the more expensive it will be.
USB3 is faster than eSata on this particular case.
