[SOLVED] External Hard Drive Issue

Hello, I got this 3tb External HDD for my pc. i tried installing windows on it. to launch my pc from there but it says something along the line of not being able to make it a bootable device and not being able to install windows on it. Is there any way to fix it? my normal hdd is dying and it takes 20-30 minutes for my pc to launch so i want to use my external drive for my windows and data. Thanks in advance.

You can't use an external drive for the Windows OS.
