External Hard drive not automaticly reinstalling windows as i thought

So as a few days ago my hard drive just had a click of death and just stop working after that day i bought this "External Hard drive" thinking it would be a spare for now, I've just got my external hard drive today and now im getting a message saying "Reboot and select proper boot device" I'm very clueless due to it said "Easy install" and it would just automaticly reinstall windows.

650WATT PSU
2x4gb ddr3 ram sticks
gtx 960
Liquid cooler
ASRock FM2A88X Extreme 6+ Motherboard

Solution
its an external drive for storing data there is no windows on it and you will not be able to put windows on it you need an internal drive for windows and a windows key
