[SOLVED] External Hard Drive on Mac - Trying to back up computer

Looking for information on how to use Toshiba USB 3.0 hard drive on a Mac. Instructions say to double click setup.exe, but that file comes up in weird symbols and says it is locked.

That's because a Mac cannot open an .exe file, they're windows based applications. You need to find the Mac version with the extensions ".dmg" or ".pkg".
