External hard drive power supply

Hello,
I have a number of external hard drives in enclosures. The power supplies have been separated from the drive and I don't know which one goes to which. Is there a way, other than trial and error, to discover which supply goes to which drive? I am afraid connecting the wrong supply will harm the drives.

No name or any other indication on which goes to which? Check that the voltages are correct/same before trying though!
