I have this WD external hard drive for quite some years with me.
I've been using this fine one day, and then suddenly it became inaccessible. I noticed it turned RAW. I tried formatting it back to NTFS and it worked!
But now.. every time I copy files (mainly game files which is around 15gb+) it would start copying with 60+mb/s and then it slows down up to 10-5mb/s until it suddenly just stops.
Not stops that the copy failed but it just freezes.
Also, I noticed when this happens, my entire laptop is unusable. like I cant open apps and I cant even use my browser. But after I unplug my hdd everything will go back to normal.
Any help is appreciated. I'm starting to think that this hdd is simply dead. But, maybe some of you might help me. Thanks!
