Question External hard drive slow booting up

I bought this drive WD my book a couple of days ago and I noticed that it was slow to spin up and I check the drive out and it seems okay but how do I fix it from being slow from waking up in sleep or maybe because it's a larger drive it takes longer?

Is this WD HDD still external, or, is it now an internal drive?
8TB HDD could take a little time to boot.

The spin up time is now 148 it keeps rising I'm lost why it's happening
