I have a Toshiba Canvio 750 GB HDD that has been removed from its casing, the casing is broken. When I pull it out, the only outbound connection is the USB 3.0 connection, there is no SATA. I can seem to find an aftermarket enclosure for it, but I may not be searching for the right thing..

Last thing I want to do is toss a perfectly good hard drive.

Hey there, jgbarke.

It sounds like the manufacturer might have used a proprietary connector. If this is the case, I doubt that you'd be able to find a way to connect the drive either externally or internally, unless you're able to remove that proprietary connector (is possible at all). If this is the case, I'd suggest that you get in touch with the drive manufacturer's customer support, as it sounds like they are the only ones who might be able to help.

Please let me know how it goes.
