Hello, my LACIE external hard drive 1To has stopped to appear on Windows

https://ibb.co/pvm2Gxm6

Also, on Windows, its letter doesnt appear, tho, I can eject it because it is recognized as an usb device

I also tried AOMEI and when iam clicking on the hard drive partition it doesnt act, just like there is no reaction from the hard drive itself

what can I do ? what do you think about it

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

List of all connected peripherals.

Wired or wireless network?

Open the Disk Management window. Expand so all can be seen and clearly read.

Take a screenshot and post the screen shot here via imgur (www.imgur.com > green "New post" icon.

Also repost the Crystal Disk info in English if possible.

I don't think there's any need for any of that. The drive has failed. Google Translate on a phone using the camera option manages to translate most of those SMART values and typing them into the website manages others. "Prudence" means caution, and the others indicate many errors. Seek error rate, reallocated sectors, rotation restart attempts.

I have an external sandisc 2tb portable ssd for put games on because my other 2 internal ssd are getting full and i did not want to open up the case to add another internal drive in case i did something stupid .... maybe i am just a bit paranoid.

Anyway ... with regards to your problem ..... is it installed correctly , unlike flash drives that have eject in the same box as format , your external ssd should only show format unless you change how it is set up.
If at sometime it did show format you could have accidentally done eject and effectively turned it off.
Before you turn your pc on unplug the drive then when pc is on open THIS PC to show all your drives.
If you see the drive is showing right click and look at options .... it should only show format and not format and eject.

BTW .... some people say you are not supposed to put games on an external ssd ..... all i can say is that i have not had any problems doing that

If it was ejected, it wouldn't show up in AOMEI. The eject option DOES still appear for external drives in the USB devices menu in the notification tray. I don't see how they would have accidentally "installed" it incorrectly so that it would even show the eject option in File Explorer's context menu, anyway. That takes extra effort, and it WAS working previously.

What does that have to do with anything? There's no mention of what's on the drive, and this is a mechanical disk.
