After upgrading to 4GB RAM on my Dell XPS1710 I did a clean install of Win7 64-bit. Things were running fine outwardly, but there were some sys and app errors in Event Viewer, so I started looking at the drivers on Dell's support page, starting with the BIOS. I was on A03 BIOS and A07 is the current one, so I flashed to that. This resulted in the WD5000AAKS external harddrive not being recognized and Windows trying to install new drivers which failed. I flashed the BIOS back to A03, but same results. Where do I go from here?
