I have a unique 1, my own fault I know now. Wanted to see if I could access my external drive by plugging it into my directv dvr, big mistake and went straight to formatting it before I could unplug it in time. Now when I plug it back into my computer it won't show up in my computer so it won't open and I'm sure it's totally blank now so that is why it's not even being recognized. Second it does show up both in device manager and disk management but in disk management the only option that isn't greyed out is to delete the volume???? Can't make it active or anything else that would let it be seen. I'm in the process right now of trying the Seagate recovery tool that let's me get some stuff back I hope. Any other suggestions would be nice if can safely tell me there is a solution to get my Seagate FA Go Flex desk usb/sata drive. Thanks for your time and cosideration in this matter. Boy did I goof this time
