Im new to the forum, so apologies if its not in the right topic. Let me know and I'll move it.

I took my laptop HDD and connected it to PC. Initially it didn't recognize it but I followed advice on this forum and assigned letters to it and it works.

Now I have 3 partitions out of which I can't access 2 due to access denied message. I formated them to NFTS , still the same issue.

Note: it may be relevant that I tried to install ubuntu on on this hdd and it stopped in the middle of the process, so I took it out and thoughjt to connect it to PC... I can only access 1 partition...

The second issue is that HDD is 1TB but when moving it to PC it has only 1GB

EDIT: Upon entering Disk Management I can see the partition 2 whivh has 931GB but its not showing when going to diskpart - list volumes in command prompt

Fully open the Disk Management window so all can be seen.

Take a screenshot and post here using Imgur (www.imgur.com).

Hey, thanks for the quick reply.

Here is a screenshot from the Disk Management tool (Note that I've managed to allocate that by overriding the delete option using a command prompt)

However, I now have a 99MB partition that I cannot delete or access because most likely it contains Linux OS leftover files.
I tried to boot Linux on it but it got crashed in the middle of the process so I just used this HDD and connected it to PC.

Here is the error messages:
  1. Error message http://prntscr.com/1z1lb89
  2. Error message http://prntscr.com/1z1lfda

I went to the security tab but I'm not sure what to do there. I'm having troubles finding answer on google

The Disk Management screenshot shows two storage devices. You say that the HDD is 1TB. That is Disk 0. From the screenshot, the 99MB partition is on another device which looks like a 120GB drive - probably your boot SSD.

Yes: do use imgur.com

That said, my system was able to (surprisingly) view/see the prntscr.com images.

Both "Currently no permission" errors seem to be referring to a B:\ drive folder.

Maybe "Linux OS leftover files"?

Did you have both Windows and Linux as dual boot on the 120 GB SSD or the 1TB HDD?
