External HDD as internal

I am having this HDD

And 120 GB adata internal hard disk.
may I use my external drive along with the internal drive to increase the space and install the games on that like gta 5 etc.

External hard drives are not suitable for installing software or games on - - too slow.

However, they are perfectly suitable for storing backups of your data.
